Power and Unity: Mobilizing for Action
The National Lived Experience Leadership Conference took place from November 11th to November 13th. It was a conference designed by and for people with lived experience of homelessness. Activists, local leaders, and individuals with firsthand experience of homelessness gathered to build power and unity – and mobilized for action to end homelessness.
This annual conference was hosted for the first time on the West Coast, featuring panel discussions, action labs, and workshops led by experts in the field – including people with lived experience of homelessness. Every aspect of the conference – from logistics planning to session themes – was informed by the perspectives of those most impacted by this issue.
