"Faces of Homelessness" Video & DVD

"Faces of Homelessness" was created to introduce presentations given by members of the Speakers' Bureau. The Speakers' Bureau is a program of the National Coalition for the Homeless that is comprised of people who are or have been homeless. It works to educate the public about homelessness and what can be done to end it.

The Speakers' Bureau is a realistic and dynamic tool to teach and challenge tomorrow's leaders as well as empower those who have experienced homelessness first-hand. By fostering an environment of self-worth, respect, and understanding for all people, the Speakers' Bureau challenges us to believe that we can and should end homelessness.

Faces of Homelessness II: This 10 minute video (DVD) features interviews with homeless/formerly homeless members of NCH's Faces of Homelessness Speakers' Bureau. They share their personal experiences of being homeless in America. $15 plus $5 S & H

Faces of Homelessness I: The National Coalition for the Homeless' highly regarded multimedia slide show featuring images of America's homeless people is now available on VHS or DVD. This 13-minute video (VHS or DVD) is a great resource to begin a group discussion about homelessness in America. $15.00 + $5.00 S&H.
