Rufus Hannah

Mister Hannah, a 54 year old native of North Carolina , United States Army Veteran and proud father and grandfather spent 11 years on the street in San Diego, California, battling alcoholism.
Today, sober and working as an apartment manager in a 62 unit complex, Rufus works with the Speaker's Bureau both in California and across the United States, relaying his experiences both as a homelss man and as an advocate against the "Bumfights" series of videos which exploited him while he was on the street.
Rufus says about his recovery from homelessness, "The best part is that now I am free to visit my children and grandchildren. I look forward to working with other NCH speakers."
